Since our business is expanding, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Mechanics Group Leader to support our client service and provide high-quality service for electrical and mechanical business.

 

About the position:

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Wage: $40-41 per hour

Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Location: 1378 6TH LINE, HAVELOCK, ON K0L 1Z0

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the maintenance team for maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment according to clients’ requirement and specifications, make operation records.
  • Compile detailed reports on outcomes of testing and maintenance activities and assist in the cross training of maintenance team and other team members.
  • Conduct maintenance and repair with proper tools and instruments required in operation standards.
  • Execute testing of transformers, wiring and other parts, ensuring proper performance.
  • Modify or install mechanical parts and components as per technical requirements.

 

Requirements

  • A college diploma in a relevant field is required.
  • At least three years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
  • Prior supervisory roles preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Proficiency in using various repair tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to perform duties on-site.
